The Maintenance Division keeps every HACY property in decent, safe, and sanitary condition so residents can live comfortably. Whether you need a routine fix or an emergency repair, our team is here to help.

The Maintenance Division is responsible for performing all property maintenance functions to make sure the condition and appearance of HACY properties meet or exceed Housing Quality Standards. The division also manages maintenance operations in the most cost-effective manner possible, extending the useful life of housing authority properties while delivering the best customer service to all residents.

After-Hours Emergency Maintenance

If you need emergency repairs after business hours, call the emergency line: (928) 920-2363.

Emergency service is available for HACY public housing units only. If you are a Section 8 participant, please contact your landlord directly. The on-call staff member will take your information, determine whether the situation qualifies as an emergency, and either repair or abate the problem.

 

What The Maintenance Division Does

Our maintenance team handles a broad range of responsibilities across all HACY properties:

  • Routine and emergency unit repairs
  • Inspections to confirm units meet Housing Quality Standards
  • Upkeep of common areas, grounds, and building systems
  • Preventive maintenance to extend the useful life of housing authority assets
  • Coordination with property managers to schedule work orders efficiently
  • Resident customer service throughout the repair process

 

How To Submit A Repair Request

If you have a problem in your HACY unit, follow the steps below to submit a repair request. Maintenance work for routine and emergency repairs is completed by HACY maintenance staff.

Important: When you call in a repair request, you are granting permission for an HACY maintenance worker to enter your unit if you are not home.

 

During Business Hours

Call the main office at (928) 782-3823 and enter your property manager's extension:

When you call, have the following information ready:

  1. Your unit address and unit number
  2. A detailed description of the problem
  3. The location of the problem within your unit

Resident Portal Option

You can also submit work orders online through the Resident Portal. The portal lets you make payments, track requests, and more.
