Housing Authority of the City of Yuma

Community Services Division

Houses

The Community Services Division offers a variety of services and programs to assist families from the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project Based Voucher (PBV) Programs to increase their earned income and connect them to available resources in the community.

Our Programs

The Division administers five programs designed to support residents at every stage of their journey. From building job skills and financial stability to achieving homeownership, each program is designed to meet families where they are. Explore the programs below to learn how we can help.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program

The Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program helps HCV and PBV participants set goals, build skills, and grow their earned income. Participants who increase their earnings while enrolled may accumulate escrow savings they can use when they graduate from the program.
