Cocopah West Restoration Project Advertisement

The Cocopah Indian Tribe (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Cocopah West Restoration Project – Earthwork, Structures, and Water Delivery; WRP-2026-1

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Cocopah Indian Tribe’s Tribal Headquarters located at 14515 S. Veterans Drive, Somerton, AZ 85350 within the Cocopah West Reservation, until Friday September 4th at 3:00 PM local time.

The Project includes the following work:

• Earthwork and structures: site preparation, grading, and construction of civil structures to restore 405 acres of habitat along the Colorado River, to be built in accordance with a previously designed set of engineered plans and associated technical specifications.
• Water delivery: design and construction of water delivery infrastructure to irrigation cottonwood/willow, mesquite, and upland habitats through bot flood and drip irrigation as specified in the restoration design plans.

Pre-bid Meeting

A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on Wednesday August 5th, 2026 at 8:30 AM at the Cocopah Cultural Center at 14533 South Veterans Drive in Somerton, AZ. Interested firms must reach out to the staff contact by phone or email to RSVP for the meeting.

East Cocopah Lift Station Advertisement

The Cocopah Indian Tribe (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: East Cocopah Lift Station Renovation Project PH20-V61; WA17-25

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Cocopah Indian Tribe’s Tribal Headquarters located at 14515 S. Veterans Drive, Somerton, AZ 85350 within the Cocopah West Reservation, until Thursday, July 9th, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read the Cocopah Indian Tribe’s Arts and Crafts Room in the Cultural Center Building located at 14529 Veterans Pl, Somerton, AZ 85350. The location coordinates for the Cocopah Tribal Headquarters are: (32.61528639357048, - 114.76728440383518).

The Project includes the following Work: East Cocopah Lift Station Renovation IHS Project #PH-20-V61 WA-21-24:

• Sanitary Sewer System: Installation of two 4’ diameter sanitary manholes and approximately 90 linear feet (LF) of gravity sewer main with a depth of 11’ to 15’. The work shall include the connection to the existing sanitary sewer system and temporary sewer bypass as needed.
• Sewage Lift Station: The work includes the installation of a new duplex sanitary sewer lift station adjacent to an existing lift station, demolition of the existing lift station and gravity lines after the completion of the new sewer lift station, installation of two submersible pumps, discharge valves and pipings, an 8’ diameter fiberglass wetwell with a depth of approximately 20.5 feet supplied by the pump manufacturer, a 12’ diameter concrete base, a 6-foot thick anti-floatation concrete column attached to the fiberglass wetwell, concrete slabs for the fiberglass wetwell, force main discharge piping, generator, and electrical rack indicated on plan, site grading, new chain-link fence, erosion control, and required civil and mechanical work. The work also includes the installation of a new pump control panel, lift station control equipment, SCADA monitoring unit, 30kW generator, automatic transfer switch, and required electrical work.
• Sewer Force Mains: Installation of 55LF of new 6” sewer force main with a depth of 3’, valves, and connection to the existing sewer force main system.

The Project has an expected duration of 270 days.

Pre-bid Conference

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cocopah Indian Tribe’s Arts and Crafts Room in the Cultural Center Building located at 14529 Veterans Pl, Somerton, AZ 85350. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
